Review: Good Things Miracle Mattifier and Bright Eyes

After a rubbish experience with a Neutrogena moisturiser recently I found myself in the market for a new one and found a marvellous one after a tip from my boyfriend (Is it worrying I get skincare tips from him? :P). It is... The Good Things Miracle Mattifier moisturiser!

Good Things is a brand I hadn't heard of before, I'm not sure if it's relatively new or just not very well promoted. It was created by the award-winning beauty writer Alice hart-Davis and is tailored for younger skin-types. The range prides itself on using super-fruits for a natural, healthy skin boost and being paraben, mineral oil, and generally yukky thing free- just GOOD things :) It's also suitable for both Vegetarians and Vegans, which while not important for me personally in a skincare product, is of utmost importance to others and not something which seems widely available so another bonus point!

So, onto the actual product. The Miracle Mattifier is concentrated towards oily skin types (I actually have normal to combination skin but wanted to tackle the shine I get through the centre of my face) to hydrate whilst absorbing excess oil to maintain a smooth, matte complexion. It contains super-fruits goji berry and blackcurrant (which make it smell AMAZING!) as well as helping to balance your skin throughout the day.
As for my personal experience with it, I've been using it for about three weeks now and I've noticed a real improvement in my skin. It's now a lot smoother, my make-up applies fantastically after using this and I now no longer need to touch up my face with powder in the day to combat oiliness, I love it and will be repurchasing.

I also purchased the Bright Eyes Treatment at the same time, containing extracts of raspberry and lychee, it promises to tackle puffiness and dark circles.
At nearly nineteen, this is my first ever eye cream as I've now started to notice a definite change in the resilience of my skin from a few years ago so want to start taking proper care of the more delicate areas. I actually haven't noticed a pronounced change in my dark circles (but they weren't prominent to begin with) but this does help reduce the puffiness I get after sleep and helps wake up my eye area in the morning as well as smelling as delicious as the moisturiser.

The Good Things Skincare line is available in Boots, Sainsburys and Superdrug stores
The Miracle Mattifier retails at £7.99 for 100ml
The Bright Eyes Treatment retails at £5.99 for 15ml

Good Things is currently 2 for £6 at Boots until January 29th
